Six months later, art'chipel, Marseille

Six months after the completion of art'chipel in Marseille, we went back to the site. Not for a formal reception, not for photographs. Just to see. We opened the Merlin app. Four species: Eurasian Collared-Dove, House Sparrow, European Serin, Eurasian Magpie. They had claimed the place. Not visually, sonically. The project existed within their flight paths, their songs, as if it had always been there. That is the moment you know you made the right call: preserve every healthy tree, insert the architecture into the gaps rather than clearing everything. Life did not wait. It recognized its own.
