Six months later — art'chipel, Marseille
Six months after the completion of art'chipel in Marseille, we went back to the site. Not for a formal reception, not for photographs. Just to see. We opened the Merlin app. Four species: Eurasian Collared-Dove, House Sparrow, European Serin, Eurasian Magpie. They had claimed the place. Not visually — sonically. The project existed within their flight paths, their songs, as if it had always been there. That is the moment you know you made the right call: preserve every healthy tree, insert the architecture into the gaps rather than clearing everything. Life did not wait. It recognized its own.
